Kurt has a tendency to overlook other peoples feelings when he feels hurt himself. With Blaine, he was upset about the fact that he felt rejected by Blaine. So he lashed out. And with Quinn, where he completely disregarded her feelings about suicide. He was upset about Karofsky and overwhelmed by his own guilt, that he once again couldn't see someone else's issues or pain.

That’s one way to look at it. But the writers also have a tendency to use characters as mouthpieces and subsequently have them say problematic things in an effort to communicate some greater ~*message*~. So that’s something to keep in mind.

With the Quinn thing, I feel like that was more them trying to shoot down the “suicide is selfish” argument and having Kurt belittle Quinn’s struggles in the process… which was not the best way to go about doing it. At all.
